Berrifine is a family-owned company with over 50 years of experience in the production and processing of fruit and fruit-based products. We have a strong focus on high product quality, close collaboration with customers and suppliers, and a sustainable approach to the entire value chain. With headquarters in Denmark and a branch in Germany, our production includes both organic and conventional products sourced from North America, South America, Europe and Asia.
We supply food manufacturers at home and abroad and work actively to optimise raw materials and processes in close collaboration with our partners.
Our fruit-based ingredients are used in juices, jams, muesli, baked goods, smoothies and chocolate.

The story from Farm to Fork
2003
Berrifine was founded in Ringsted, Denmark, by Jørgen Stølsgård as a trading company specialising in fruit-based commodities.
Jørgen has been active in the industry since 1970, and with his experience he has laid the foundation for the company's values and focus on quality.
From Plantation to Production - Our Journey with the Fruit
At Berrifine, we have a passion for fruit - and for its journey from farm to fork. It's a story that begins in sun-drenched orchards, where nature delivers its best, and ends as fruit-based raw materials of the highest quality - ready to become part of our customers' products.
2003
Nils Stølsgård joins the company after completing his education in food technology.
2014
With solid experience as an accountant in both Denmark and the US, Mads Stølsgård joins Berrifine and strengthens the company's financial and strategic foundation.
Nature's Gifts in Focus
We work with carefully selected producers and plantations where each fruit is grown with care and respect for nature. From harvest time, we ensure strict quality control and full traceability - so we can always guarantee the origin and standard of the raw materials.
2015
Berrifine is expanding its business model with its own production of high-quality fruit paste in Lutheran, Germany, with the subsidiary Berrigarden GmbH.

Once the fruit leaves the orchard, the next phase begins: careful processing into fruit-based raw materials that match the needs of the food industry. Through advanced processes and a strong focus on sustainability, we transform the fruit into ingredients that retain flavour, nutritional value and quality - ready for use in everything from juices and jams to sweets and baked goods.
2019
The company is undergoing a generational change, with Nils and Mads Stølsgård taking over ownership and continuing the family's commitment to quality fruit-based solutions.

To ensure higher transparency and sustainability in the supply chain, Berrifine invests in Tracezilla, an ERP system tailored for food companies.

Berrifine strengthens its presence in Eastern Europe by establishing a sales and purchasing function in Poland - closer to customers and suppliers.
